Emily Foord Kindergarten is more than crayons and cubbies. It’s a place where learning runs deep, nature is part of the classroom, and community is at the heart of everything.

When it came to branding, we wanted to steer clear of the usual childlike tropes and build something with meaning and longevity.

The new brand centres around a set of symbols, each representing a guiding principle of the kindergarten. Learning. Nature. Play. Community. Care. These shapes can stand alone as touchpoints or come together to form a single, unified logo. It’s a visual system that reflects how the kindergarten itself works: connected, layered and always evolving.

The look and feel is calm, confident and thoughtful. Soft, earthy tones nod to the natural world. The typography is clean and friendly, with just enough personality. Every element is designed to feel warm, welcoming and rooted in something real.

This is a brand that reflects the way Emily Foord Kindergarten teaches, grows and connects. It’s built to carry those values forward — in signage, in classrooms and out in the wider community. Best of all, even our mini-clients can communicate the meaning.
